Sailing in San Diego Bay

Sailing San Diego bay

Sailing in San Diego bay is easy and fun. San Diego bay is a natural harbor as well as a deep water port for large commercial vessels and cruise ships. The bay is 12 miles long and well protected by the Point Loma peninsula forming a protective barrier for the harbor from the prevailing wind and seas. San Diego bay features the iconic Coronado Bridge from the city across the bay to Coronado Island (that is not really an island). For more information about San Diego Bay see wikipedia.
