Costs
The annual dues for 2025 are $950. This includes $50 worth of boat rental credit and all necessary sailing instruction. The rates for boat use are covered in the table below.

"After living on a 37' sailboat in Florida for ten years, I relocated to San Diego for work, and missed my weekly sailing 'fix'. I couldn't afford to buy a boat and a house, so Convair is the best approach. Reasonable rates on well maintained (but older boats), the boats are 23 foot which is the perfect size for sailing in the bay, and they have a very active membership that makes it easy to find other sailor to hang out with socially, at a monthly BBQ, on a pleasure day sail, or a low key race."
