Convair Sailing Club provides training to ensure that you can handle the sailboats and be safe on the water. This training is included with your membership. 

First, an introductionary Meet-and-sail functions as an orientation and overview of the Club. Workbook materials are provided for self study. There after you schedule one-on-one On-the-water training with an experienced instructor. There are four On-the-water session and each ranges from 3 – 4 hours.

If you and your instructor are confident that you can competetantly sail the boat, you are scheduled for a ‘check-out’ by the Chief of Checkout.  Passing this enable you to skipper our Victory sailboats. Convair Sailing Club has a fleet of 10 Victory Sailboat that are 21 ft long and can carry 3  people.

Club members can rent the Victories at $10 per hour, sail any time, no restrictions, reservations or time windows.
